Categories – Solo Runners female or male, Pairs, (two runners), female, male or mixed, Teams of 3 or 4 runners, female, male or mixed.
Age – Solo & Pairs 20+, Teams 17+, Price is £20 per runner plus booking fee.
Parking – Free and within 50m of the event area.
Race numbers – Please collect these from the help desk on arrival. They are chipped and runners will get their overall time and splits for each lap.
Support – Solo runners can bring a support crew (non-running) and gazebo/tent. Teams can bring supporters and a gazebo. Gazebos can be pitched next to the route near the exchange area.
Route – The majority of the route is through woodland and on mixed terrain, it is not particularly hilly, we avoid the usual Culden Faw hills. There is one climb at around 2.5K followed by a fast downhill section. The route around the exchange area is on grass and through the solo and team support areas.
How it works
All categories start at the same time 11.00am, solo runners may stop at their support area, rest, refuel and rejoin the route. Pairs and teams pass to their partner/team mate in the exchange area. How you organise your run is up to you and you may continue for as many laps as you like before exchanging. At 3.00pm we close the route but if you have already started the lap you can complete it and it will count.
