Pride Run 10K Returns
A celebration of community, identity and resilience...
London Frontrunners are justifiably proud of the enduring success of their annual Pride Run 10K held in Victoria Park, with the 22nd edition being just two months away on Saturday, 20 September 2025.
The not-for-profit Pride Run 10K is organised by volunteers from London Frontrunners, an inclusive running club for lesbians, gay and bisexual men and women, transgender and gay-friendly people. Formed in 1995, the 600-member London Frontrunners club is part of International Front Runners, a worldwide network of LGBT running clubs.
The vibe at Pride Run 10K is colourful, welcoming, energetic and fun. The setting, in East London's beautiful Victoria Park, is perfect for a 10K on the flat, three-lap course that is a 10-minute walk from Hackney Wick overground station.
The People's Park Tavern will again be hosting the legendary After-Party and typically there is a fixed deal price for a meal and drink, so why not stay and celebrate your achievement with like-minded people.
The race can make a lasting impression on runners, like Lindon from Barbados, who reviewed his first Pride Run 10K thus: "Taking part in the Pride Run in London was an unforgettable experience. It was more than just a run; it felt like a celebration of community, identity, and resilience. I've done a bit of running before back in my home country, but this was my first time joining a Pride Run, and the energy was unlike anything I've experienced."
Last year's event saw just under 800 finish in 95 minutes. The winner was M40 Josselin Polini (Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets AC, 33:30), and Rebecca Pigott (London Heathside, 38:44) was the first female finisher. The first teams were the men of London Frontrunners and the women from Victoria Park Harriers as nearly 600 beat the 60 minutes barrier!
Pride Run 10K raises funds for local charities. This year's charity partner is the Micro Rainbow International Foundation, working globally to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people achieve their full potential in life.
