The Women's 10K Glasgow is organised by GSi Events and takes place in the heart of Scotland's largest city. Created to encourage women of all abilities to take part in organised running, the event has become one of Scotland's best known women only road races and is held alongside the Men's 10K Glasgow.
The fully measured 10K starts at the Riverside Museum before following the River Clyde past the Glasgow Science Centre, the SEC and the OVO Hydro. The route crosses the Clyde via the Squiggly Bridge and George V Bridge before passing Buchanan Street, George Square and Glasgow Green, finishing beside the People's Palace. The combination of riverside running, city streets and iconic landmarks creates a distinctive tour of Glasgow.
Chip timing, water stations, professional event management and a finisher's medal help deliver a well organised race day. A lively event village, enthusiastic spectators and strong charity fundraising add to the occasion, making the Women's 10K Glasgow a standout fixture in Scotland's road running calendar.
