Are You Hungry For The Wolf Run
Run in a pack or as the classic lone wolf at this autumn obstacle course race...
Autumn is a fantastic season to be running in the wild, whether it's charging through twisting woodland trails or wading through thick mud and water, it's a definite buzz! A fantastic option that ticks all these boxes is Warwickshire's Autumn Wolf Run which is back on 2/3 September.
Returning to the stunning Offchurch Bury venue, those taking part will love what race organisers have planned, they say: "Our man-made obstacles will be changed-up and new exciting obstacles introduced to have you guessing what's around the corner! As always there is lots to see and do in the event village so bring your family and friends to cheer you on and make the most of it."
The ethos of Wolf Run (which includes a spring, summer and autumn offering) is that the events are all set in stunning, natural surroundings where those taking part really feel at one with the elements of the British countryside, whilst enjoying incredible natural and man-made obstacles.
The race has a 10K, 5K and junior option all providing exciting, fun and highly rewarding obstacle-based challenges. All events (April, June and September) are designed to challenge but also bring out the sheer enjoyment of the great outdoors, fitness and friendship.
Organisers say: "The Wolf Run is all about the experience of Wild Running™ - running wild and being 100% involved in the experience. The Wolf Run is not a race; it’s a physical and mental challenge that every Wolf Runner tackles their own way - whether it’s running in a pack or running alone as the classic lone wolf!
"We don’t use timing chips and if you’d like to wear a watch to time yourself, please make sure it’s water/shock resistant!"
