Nice Work Are Branching Out!

Nice Work announces Forest Series of autumnal trail races...

Sussex-based race management company Nice Work is really branching out with its latest promotion. The benefits of spending time in nature are well known, so Nice Work has created a new run collection designed to showcase the most serene and breathtaking green spaces across the UK.

Commencing with the first of two visits to Cannock Chase Forest on 22 October 2023 and concluding with Salcey Forest Christmas Trail races on 9 December 2023 there are six events at five locations with races from 5K to a full marathon where you can experience some spectacular forestscapes and natural woodlands as you collect bespoke forest-themed medals and perhaps qualify for a free Nice Work T-shirt if you complete three of the six Forest Series races.

The full Nice Work Forest Series dates and race details are:

Rachael Wood, Managing Director of Nice Work said: "We believe the enjoyment and benefits of running are greatly enhanced by the natural world. Being close to trees and ensconced by dense forests has the ability to heal and improve mental health. Our Forest Series allows our runners to plunge into fresh green environments that provide a vital connection to mother nature whilst running. We invite all running enthusiasts of every level, locals, residents, and visitors alike, to join us for truly unique races across the UK. There is no greater feeling of peace and connectedness than the sound of running footsteps among nature. It’s one of my favourite places to run."

Nice Work Races works with Forestry England to support and protect each local forest venue – ensuring that all races are eco-sensitive to the areas and wildlife within them. In addition, the two Cannock Chase Forest events are held in aid of the Newlife Charity, supporting the lives of disabled and terminally ill children across the UK. The December races include mince pies at the finish line and prizes for the best-dressed competitors who embrace the festive season.
