Windsor Women's 10K and Windsor Half Marathon continue to offer fantastic value events in a truly extraordinary setting that simply has to be experienced to be appreciated – take a look at this brief video to get a feel for the unique atmosphere in Windsor Great Park on race day.

Moving into its 40th year, the famous Windsor Half Marathon is a challenging race not to be missed. Featuring iconic historic sites, a touch of the Royal spirit and a hugely supportive, community atmosphere, runners in their thousands will be lacing up their trainers to start and finish on the Long Walk, with Windsor Castle as the backdrop. Last year's winners were Hugo Donavan (Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow AC, 1:11:14) and Georgie Bruinvels (Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, 1:19:42). There were 3,132 finishers under four hours.

Windsor Women’s 10K is open to women of all ages and abilities and follows a scenic route that is perfect for a fun run or for those chasing a new personal best. The course starts along the Long Walk and passes the Copper Horse Statue, the Royal Lodge, and the Jubilee Statue before the fast, downhill finish on the spectacular Long Walk. The defending champion from 2022 is W40 Laura Baylis (Datchet Dashers, 40:54) and 805 finished inside two hours.

Peter Hier, Race Director says: “We’re excited to open our Early Bird discounted entries for next year’s event, and due to the thousands of racers who took to our start line in September, this is a great opportunity to secure your race place ahead of time for what is sure to be an even bigger, better event in 2024! Breathtaking scenery and traffic-free roads make for a wonderful route and whilst there are many flat stretches, there are some hilly sections to make the races a bit more interesting.”

Results and reports are at runABC South race listing here (10K) and here (half marathon).
