The Windsor Half Marathon is one of the UK's best known Half Marathons, first held in 1981 and set entirely within the spectacular surroundings of Windsor Great Park.
Starting and finishing on the famous Long Walk, the traffic free 13.1 mile course follows sweeping park roads through ancient woodland and open parkland, with Windsor Castle providing an iconic backdrop. The undulating route combines impressive scenery with a rewarding challenge for first time Half Marathon runners and experienced competitors alike.
The race is professionally chip timed, with experienced marshals, on course support and live entertainment adding to the atmosphere. Finishers receive a commemorative medal after completing one of the most distinctive Half Marathon courses in Britain. From 2027, the race forms part of the Windsor RUN FEST weekend.
