Twin Lakes 20

20's Plenty!

This event provides a great testing ground for a springtime marathon...

Milton Keynes' Twin Lakes 20 returns on 23 March offering runners a superfast, traffic-free course through picturesque countryside. This 10 mile and 20 mile race is the perfect training opportunity for those preparing for a spring half marathon or full marathon, providing a scenic and supported run instead of training solo.

Runners will enjoy breathtaking views as they lap two beautiful lakes and follow the River Ouzel and the Grand Union Canal. The multi-terrain course is approximately 80% cycle paths, with some gravel sections and canal towpaths adding variety to the route. The 20-mile race consists of two laps, giving participants an extended endurance challenge.

With Dirt Running at the helm, the Twin Lakes 20 promises a well-organised and friendly atmosphere. All finishers will receive a technical race t-shirt and a high-quality metal medal. A mobile coffee van will be on-site, offering hot and cold drinks alongside snacks, while the Benugo Bar & Kitchen at Willen Lake will open for additional refreshments.

A previous participant commented: "I absolutely loved the event. I got a hotel right on the lake so it was a two minute walk to the start. I loved the ferris wheel on the medal. The crowds and spectators were awesome as always in Milton Keynes. Would love to do it again."
