Imagine the excitement of night running in the South Downs National Park under a full moon on a summer’s night.

High above the surrounding village, you'll see the twinkling lights below and against the silhouette of darkened hills, the torches of the other runners making their way out and back.
This is a personal challenge for every competitor. Being in the South Downs, it has some tough hills and varied terrain underfoot with sections of grass, gravel, chalk and tarmac but above all, the unique experience of running in the countryside at night surrounded by some of the best that nature in the South of England has to offer.
Leaving the hills and returning to the country park, after the last downhill section you cross the finish line to be rewarded with a bespoke one-off finisher’s medal and T-shirt.
