Runners from across the UK will be heading to Essex on Sunday 21 October to take part in the fifth Chelmsford Marathon. This popular sporting event raises thousands of pounds for The J’s Hospice charity.
The 26.2 mile single lap course on road and tarmac paths starts outside Shire Hall in Chelmsford High Street then heads out through the city and nearby countryside and villages, before returning to cross the finishing line in Central Park.
Entry fee includes a bespoke medal, technical running T-shirt, goody bag, refreshments along the route and chip timing. The race village in Central Park will have toilets, baggage and changing facilities, as well as refreshments.
