Run South London is a closed road half marathon delivered by The Great Run Company and Merton Council.
Starting and finishing in Morden Park, the 13.1 mile route heads north through Morden, South Wimbledon, Wimbledon Chase and Raynes Park before reaching Wimbledon town centre.
Runners circle Wimbledon Park and pass the All England Lawn Tennis Club, home of The Championships, before continuing onto Wimbledon Common. The course passes Wimbledon Windmill and takes in the Common's heathland and woodland before heading through Wimbledon Village.
The return journey takes runners south through Merton's neighbourhoods and high streets, including another passage through Raynes Park, before the final approach to Morden Park. The combination of closed roads, residential streets, parkland and several of Wimbledon's best known landmarks gives the race a distinctive south west London character.
