Run Garioch is a popular road running event in Inverurie featuring a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and junior races around the town and surrounding Aberdeenshire countryside. The routes combine urban streets with quieter rural roads, creating a scenic spring race experience for runners of all abilities.
The Half Marathon heads out into the Garioch countryside with a few gentle climbs and open views along the route, while the 10K takes runners through Inverurie before reaching quieter roads near Polinar Dam. All events are run on paved roads and are fully chip timed.
Based at the Garioch Sports Centre, the event has a strong community feel with an event village and support from local charities and volunteers. The varied race programme makes it a welcoming running event for experienced runners, families and those taking on a new distance.
