Richmond Is Live For '25

Early Bird Alert for Richmond RUN-FEST entries...

The 12th Richmond RUN-FEST on Sunday 15 September 2024 saw around 5,000 runners competing in six events at a running festival meets music festival mash-up, with a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Centre start and an ancient deer park finish line.

The event sold out within six months of entries going live last year and we did our best to capture the atmosphere in our report on runABC South's Newsdesk here.

The word from Richmond RUN-FEST HQ is (in their own words): "After the success of Richmond RUN-FEST we thought...oh go on then, let's do it again! Registration is now live and the date is Sunday 14th September 2025. Sign up before 17th October at 11:59pm to get the lowest Early Bird price."

All the indications are that the events will sell out even earlier next year so this is your Early Bird Alert. Don't let the 13th edition of Richmond RUN-FEST be unlucky for you. Enter now to save money and secure your place on one of the most dramatic start lines around.

Entry fees include a bright, chunky triangular medal, male and female cut race T-shirt, and an after-party and fitness expo like no other in Old Deer Park. The races all start within the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew.

On race morning each runner can bring four spectators into Kew Gardens for two hours (7:00am to 9:00am) free of charge – the normal admission charge is £16. Spectators can arrive at Kew Gardens with their runners and once they have cheered them on at the start they make their way to the finish line festival in Old Deer Park.

Early Bird prices – only guaranteed until midnight tonight (Thursday 17 October 2024) – are from £37.50 for the Richmond 10K to £47 for the Richmond Marathon (including transaction fees). This represents a saving of £5 from all standard entries and a whopping £10 off late entry fees.
