The Isle of Skye Half Marathon takes place in Portree on the Isle of Skye and is regarded as one of Scotland’s most scenic road races. The closed road Half Marathon follows a loop route through the island countryside with climbs out of Portree, fast downhill sections and quiet single track roads beside the River Snizort and surrounding Highland landscapes.
Known for its strong community atmosphere and spectacular scenery, the event also includes a 10K and Fun Run. Runners can expect rolling terrain, coastal and countryside views and a memorable island running experience that combines challenging roads with dramatic Skye scenery.
