Half Dram 2026

Half DRAM Set To Bring Adventure Running Back To Dundee

Dundee’s adventure half returns...

The Half DRAM returns to Dundee on 12 July 2026 with runners once again preparing for a Half Marathon that mixes trail running, riverside scenery and a proper sense of adventure across the city. Organised by Eventfull Management, the Dundee Running Adventure Half Marathon continues to stand apart from traditional road races through its point to point format and varied terrain.

Starting in Camperdown Park, runners follow sections of Dundee’s Green Circular route before heading east towards Broughty Ferry. The course combines woodland trails, pavements, riverside paths and parkland sections along the northern banks of the River Tay, finishing close to Barnhill Rock Gardens near the waterfront.

Unlike flatter city Half Marathons built around fast times, Half DRAM has built its reputation on challenge and variety. The changing terrain and rolling route profile give runners a constantly evolving race experience, while the scenery across the city and along the river helps create a more relaxed adventure running atmosphere.

The event has steadily grown in popularity over recent years, with runners returning for the supportive atmosphere and distinctive course design. Marshals and volunteers play a major role across the route, helping maintain the welcoming feel that has become part of the race’s identity.

One of the reasons runners continue to enjoy Half DRAM is the journey aspect of the course. Rather than looping back through repeated sections, the route genuinely feels like travelling across Dundee from one side of the city to the other, giving the race a sense of progression throughout the morning.

Entries for the 2026 edition were almost sold out at the time of publication, with the potential for organisers to introduce a waiting list once entries are filled.
