With an iconic suspension bridge at its core, Bristol will again provide a spectacular backdrop to the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run Half Marathon and 10K that returns to the famous maritime city on Sunday 19th May, 2024 – giving you just under 12 weeks to get on board!

Of course, Clifton Suspension Bridge isn't the only thing that has put Bristol on the map. So too have its brilliant citizens. Often described as the best running event in the South West, the half marathon follows the Portway through the Avon Gorge and out towards the stunning Clifton Suspension Bridge. Runners in both main events will experience some of Bristol’s most memorable landmarks including the historic Harbourside, Castle Park, Avon Gorge, and Queen Square. If superb views, inspiring history, and graffiti murals are your thing then Great Bristol Run is right up your street (Banksy is another famous former Bristolian).

From the start line excitement to the rocking on-course music zones, and an event village that feels more like an after-party, the buzzing atmosphere continues with post-event celebrations in the après-run zone in Millennium Square.
