The Gloucester 10K is a popular community road race that combines a fast, predominantly flat course with a sightseeing tour of one of England's most historic cities. Starting and finishing in Gloucester Park, the route passes many of the city's best known landmarks, including Gloucester Cathedral, the historic docks, Gloucester Quays and the scenic canal towpath.

The one lap course uses a mixture of roads, footpaths and towpaths to create an enjoyable and traffic free route suitable for runners of all abilities. Chip timing, kilometre markers, water stations and enthusiastic local support help make the event an excellent choice for those chasing a personal best as well as first time 10K runners.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Gloucester Quays, the event has raised tens of thousands of pounds for local charities over the years while maintaining its friendly community atmosphere. Combining an iconic city centre route with a strong charitable purpose, the Gloucester 10K is one of the region's standout summer road races.
