Gloucester 10K Open For Entries

Sign up to this fast, early summer 10K...

The Gloucester 10K promises runners a super fast course and it is now open for entries! So don't delay, sign up today and treat yourself to some fast times in 2024. Set to take place on 30 June, this early summer race is always popular so make sure you grab yourself a spot soon.

The Gloucester 10K takes place in a location rich in history and culture close to the Cotswolds. It’s organised by Tewkesbury RC with Nigel Tillott (Chair of Tewkesbury RC) the Race Director in conjunction with Gloucester Quays Rotary Club.

Runners will enjoy the thrill of the pace on a mainly flat one lap course with markers every 1K and two water stations at 4K and 8K. The lack of elevation on a traffic-free route on road, towpath and footpath makes it an ideal recipe for a PB.

This race showcases the best of the city starting at 8.30am from Gloucester Park and includes notable landmarks such as the Cathedral and runs through the Docks, along the Quays and canal. There is the odd twist and turn but nothing to stop someone posting a fast time.

Finishers can look forward to a medal, t-shirt and goody bag and the glow of pride in their achievement. Proceeds from the race will go to local charities for the benefit of the local community.
