Still Time To Do Great Things
Has the weekend's Great North Run inspired you to sign up to an event this year?
If you were inspired by the weekend’s Great North Run then now it's your turn! The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is back in just under a month's time on Sunday 6 October with organisers promising an event that will empower you to reach new heights (and that's not just because you get to run over the iconic Kingston Bridge).
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking your first steps toward a healthier, more active lifestyle, the Great Scottish Run is the perfect opportunity to be part of something truly special. Join thousands of runners in the heart of Glasgow, soak up the electric atmosphere and feel the support of thousands of cheering supporters every step of the way.
This is more than just a run—it’s a celebration of community, determination, and personal achievement. And we've been told that this year’s event is set to be the biggest Great Scottish Run in history, so don’t miss your chance to be part of the action!
There’s also still time for younger runners to be a part of the AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Scottish Run, as the kids take centre stage the day before the main event. There are three distances on offer on Saturday 5 October - the Toddler Dash is only 70 metres and suitable for children up to three years; the minis (3-8 years) take on a 1 mile dash, while juniors (9-15 years) tackle a 2.5K challenge.
As with the grown up races, the junior event is chip-timed providing young aspiring runners the chance to get a taste of that finish line feeling as they take centre stage on Great Scottish Run weekend.
