Elmbridge 10K 2026

Fast And Scenic Running At The Elmbridge 10K

Riverside 10K returns this July...

Runners will head to Walton-on-Thames on 19 July for the 2026 Elmbridge 10K, a long established Surrey race that attracts both club runners and those looking for a fast summer 10K.

Organised by Elmbridge Road Runners, the event starts and finishes on the track at Xcel Sports Hub before heading onto a flat route that follows the River Thames towpath towards Molesey. The course combines riverside paths with a short section on local roads and returns to the track for the finish.

With more than 40 years of history, the race has built a reputation as a quick course while still offering plenty of scenery along the Thames. Its mix of fast running and a welcoming local atmosphere makes it appealing to runners chasing a PB as well as those simply looking to enjoy a summer race in Surrey.

The riverside setting is one of the race's standout features. Large sections of the route follow the Thames towpath, giving runners uninterrupted views of the water and surrounding green spaces. The flat profile helps maintain a steady rhythm, making the event attractive to those targeting a fast time as well as runners building towards longer autumn races.

Elmbridge Road Runners has organised the race for decades and it remains a well established fixture in the Surrey running calendar. The combination of a proven course, strong club support and a welcoming local atmosphere continues to draw runners from across the South East each summer, whether they are chasing a PB or simply enjoying a scenic 10K close to the river.

Entries are still available for the 2026 race via The Entry Point here.
