Who doesn't love a weekend trip to Decathlon, hours can be spent in one of these mega sporting stores - my kids even view a trip to our local branch as a day out! The company has organised a series of 5K races in a variety of locations around the UK so far this year - Decathlon #RunDays, with just Glasgow left to take place.

Decathlon's Silverburn and Braehead stores have been working together to bring this exciting running event to Glasgow's Pollok Country Park on 10 November. Everyone is invited to to run the 5K distance alongside friends, family, and even those enthusiastic little ones.

A spokesperson from the company said: "Let's run for a difference and discover the running essentials and some rewards that we have prepared for you to fuel the race. There are two ticket options available for £5 and £10."

The cheaper of the two options includes race entry as well as a breathable Kiprun T-shirt, nutrition essentials, a finisher medal and a £5 voucher to spend in store after your run.

For £10 you will receive the same items and the extra £5 will be donated to ParkPlay, a charity with the mission to build happier, healthier, communities nationwide through the life changing power of play.

Organisers told us: "We are expecting up to 500 runners, so we recommend you make the registration a few days before the event if possible to avoid long queuing - it is going to be a fantastic day!"
