Scenic Springtime Trails
Trail races back in Culzean Country Park in 2025...
If you've never visited Ayrshire's Culzean Castle then 2 March would be the perfect time to make the trip as that's when Wild Deer Event's Trail Runs will return for the second time at the scenic location.
Speaking about their return to Culzean, organisers say: "After the success of our first trail run event at Culzean Castle and Country Park, we are returning in March 2025. We have something for everyone with a mixture of distances to suit all ages and abilities."
The event has 5K, 10K and Half Marathon Trail Runs on offer for all abilities with amazing views on offer too! This event is also Canicross friendly with one controlled dog per runner allowed.
Culzean Castle and Country Park, situated in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland, is a glorious estate set within 642 acres with gardens, beaches, woods and trails making it a perfect location for Wild Deer trail runs.
Opulent to the extreme, the park is planted with conifers and beech, sculpted around miles of sandy coastline dotted with caves, and finished off with a swan pond, an ice house, flamboyant formal gardens and fruit-filled glasshouses. There is also a fantastic children's adventure playground and cafes, making a great location to spend a whole day with the family.
All finishers will be rewarded with Wild Deer Merchandise, a medal, snack and a drink. Finishers of the Family Mile will get a medal, drink and a snack.
