Top Times In Trafford

Pick a spring 10K that might just provide you with that elusive PB time...

Get your spring season off to a great start with a race that provides plenty of potential for a PB time! The Trafford 10K is scheduled for 3 March and boasts a super-fast course on the scenic country roads that surround Manchester.

Organised by Run North West, the popular 10K event is one of the quickest in the country with club runners and elites traveling from all over Europe to participate in a one lap course.

Starting and finishing in Partington near Manchester, the route heads towards Dunham Massey before turning back towards Partington.

Speaking about next year's race, organisers told us: "Trafford is once again heading for a very early sell out. With 1200 already entered we can only take limited further entries, so enter now to avoid disappointment!

"This year we had perfect racing conditions and an incredibly strong field of runners, it was exciting to watch so many runners smashing their PB's. We saw 32 runners under 30 minutes and 120 runners under 32 minutes!

Charnwood AC's Samantha Harrison had a fantastic run and broke the women's course record in 30:55 while the first male home was Richard Allen of Leeds City AC in 29:03.

The race is filling up fast and it is likely that entries will have to close sooner than previous years, so don’t miss out on getting your 2024 racing calendar off to the best start.
