Ready Teddy Go!
The sun was shining for runners at Sunday's Royal Manchester Children's Hospital 10K...
The weather played ball for Sunday’s Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital 10K where close to 150 runners laced up their shoes to support local charities in a race around Pennington Flash Country Park.
First home was Jonathan Biddle who won the race in a time of 36:35, first female was Siobhan Woods who crossed the line in a time of 41:43. Woods must have been delighted with her run, as this was a 10K PB for the Charlton Runner. Midpoint runner was Dylan Harney who completed the 10K in 58:03.
A number of local businesses were running in aid of their nominated charity. Hannah Hadfield from Stockport Homes had a team of nine running with plans for picnics and really enjoying the day, whether they come first or last.
Organiser, The Running Bee Foundation tweeted: “Thank you to everyone that ran in yesterday's event - the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital 10K at Pennington Flash Country Park.
“It was an amazing day and everyone really got stuck in! Thank you to our partners for supporting us; Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity, Sports Tours International, Club La Santa Lanzarote, Running Bear, Up & Running UK and Browns Print.

While entrant, Andy Sykes tweeted: “Great event at the @TheRunningBee @RMCHcharity 10K. I found it hard in places but as a course it is really good and a great event put on by the hosts and the charity. My time on the day 46:39. Happy enough with that, came in 17th place too.”
