Sheffield Santa 2021 Ho Ho Run Medal

Ho Ho Go This Christmas Eve

Dust the snow off your running shoes, earn those mince pies, and sign up for a Christmas Eve fun run...

Christmas Eve needn’t be last minute dash around the shops, looking for a gift for that one forgotten relative… or searching for an elusive ingredient that Jamie Oliver swears by! For runners in South Yorkshire there is another way to spend the day - the Sheffield Santa Ho Ho Go Fun Run.

And for those of you who do still have a spot of shopping to do, you’re in luck because the venue is Meadowhall. With an 11am start time there will be time after the run to head to the shops or enjoy the Christmas spirit over lunch or dinner.

No Santa suit? No problem! All entrants will get a free Santa hat and technical race t-shirt, so you can look and feel festive! And that's not all there are medals for all, mince pies and finish-line fizz!

Runners are guaranteed a colourful, family-friendly event on a totally traffic-free, wheelchair (and pram) accessible route. This is an event for the whole family to enjoy, even well-behaved dogs are welcome to join in. There will be seasonal cheer from the crowds to get you on your way and a warm up to loosen those limbs will take place at the start.

Event organiser, Run For It, say: "Do something amazing this Christmas - come and join us as we raise much needed funds for charity at the same time as spreading festive cheer and having fun. There'll be a free gift for all kids, too. Not forgetting lots of other Santas to dash, dance or prance the pavements with."
