Will You Run Naked This Christmas?

Runners must go tech-free in post Christmas Cheshire 10K...

Are you in perfect tune with your body? Do you have a good reckoning about how fast (or slow) you can run a 10K? Do you like running naked? If the answer to two of these questions is 'yes' then this post-Christmas Cheshire event could be right up your street.

The Adlington Winter Warmer has returned for 2021 with organisers billing it thus: "Still naked, still 10K but this time it's physical!!" Taking place on December 27, the scenic 10K offers a great chance to get out of the house and into the fresh air after two days of festivities.

However, what makes this race unique perhaps isn't quite what your (dirty) minds are imagining! This is a guessing game - you enter the race, predict your 10K time and then run the route naked. Naked, I hear you gasp! Organiser, Crazy Leg Events, has this to say: "Steady now... it just means run without any timing devices, clothing is NOT optional. The person with their actual time closest to their predicted time wins."

The organisers have once again selected Handy Ladies Feeding the Community for their chosen charity saying, "We feel that the profits from the virtual last year didn't do them justice. They do some amazing work in the community."

Entries close December 26, if you fancy your chances at guessing your 10K time then visit the event website for more details.
