Trail Running Returns To Drumlanrig
Saturday trail races confirmed for South Scotland Outdoor Festival weekend...
Trail running takes centre stage at the South Scotland Outdoor Festival this summer, with Saturday’s race programme now confirmed at the stunning Drumlanrig Castle.
Set within one of Scotland’s most iconic estate settings, the routes will take runners through rolling hills, woodland trails and scenic parkland in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. Whether you are taking on the half marathon or opting for a shorter distance, expect a mix of challenge and flow throughout.
As part of a wider festival running from 26 to 28 June 2026, the event offers more than just race day. Entry gives access to a full weekend of outdoor activity, with live music, talks, films and a dedicated wellness area all adding to the experience.
With camping available on site and a festival village bringing everything together, it is a chance to turn your run into a full weekend away.
Entries are available now through runABC for Saturday's programme and here for Sunday's programme, making it easy to secure your place at one of the most exciting new additions to the Scottish trail calendar.
