The National Running Show has grown in stature and importance to the multi-faceted world of running since the inaugural event in January 2018 and next year's event will be the biggest and best to date, with a full programme running from 09:00am to 5:00pm on both days.

Sir Mo said: “I’m happy to be speaking at the National Running Show in January. I look forward to talking to runners at a show created for runners. Running is a sport that no matter what or where you come from, if you work hard at it you can achieve something.”

The winner of four Olympic gold medals and six world titles has recently retired from international competition – but not entirely from running – and should have plenty of thoughts to share with his devoted audience, perhaps including an insight into what is next in line to fill his time now that running isn't his first priority.

The stellar list of speakers also includes Athens Olympic 800m and 1500m champion Dame Kelly Holmes; double World Champion and world record hurdler Colin Jackson; World Indoor 400m champion Jamie Baulch; world parkrun record holder Andy Baddeley and elite representatives from the world of ultra-running Joshue Patterson and Jasmin Paris. The full cast of speakers and star hosts is available here.

With more than 20 sponsor's stands and a further 200-plus exhibitors, there will be plenty to fill the time between events and activities like the famous Travelator giant treadmill; Pilates for Runners Studio; CPR Workshop; Mini Athletics Kids Lane; Boobydoo Bra Fitting Bar and the essential Running Track to try out the latest running shoes.

Nathalie Davies, managing director at Raccoon Media Group, said: “We are really excited that Sir Mo will be joining the amazing speaker line-up and cannot wait to showcase some of the biggest talents in the running world at our event. The National Running Show gives runners of all abilities unprecedented access to industry experts, top brand exhibitors, and a range of fun interactive features.”
