Sheffield's Ten Out of Ten is Back!

Sheffield's exciting multi-terrain 10K is back for 2024...

Entries are now open for this year's Sheffield TenTenTen which will return to Endcliffe Park on 13 October! A popular event, it attracts more than 1000 runners each year with the 10K race offering runners an exciting and creative multi-terrain course as well as a great atmosphere for participants, spectators and volunteers alike.

The course has been develped with a twist of creativity and innovation. Organisers say: "This is not your regular road race, it is run on grass, road, paved paths and flowing woodland trails.

"It's a really balanced mix and introduces novices to the world of trail running gently. The course does have a few lumps and bumps, twists and turns, and all adds to the challenge and fun."

The nature of the course makes this an inclusive event, attracting a wide range of running abilities from those completing their first ever 10K, to those who have represented their country at the elite level. Organisers comment that 'many have started their running journey at this event, and caught the running bug by doing so'.

The first edition of the event was staged on 10 October 2010, hence the name, and over the last 14 years participants have not only enjoyed the exciting course, many of them have also helped raised £70,000+ for Weston Park Hospital - one of only three dedicated cancer hospitals in the UK.

In 2023 it was Lewis Roberts of Worcester AC who won the race in a time of 36:15 while the first female was Sarah-Jane Bamford in 44:20.
