Be A Rebel This June
Trail Running Festival returns this summer...
Entries are now open for this year's Protein Rebel Running Festival, set to take place on Sunday 7 June at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre in South Cheshire, once again promising a fresh take on the traditional race day experience.
Blending trail running with community, education and post run socialising, the event is designed to appeal to both experienced runners and those new to off road running. At its heart is a timed five mile trail run through private woodland and open fields, offering a varied but accessible route that organisers say is challenging without being overwhelming.
The festival also features an inspirational speaker panel hosted by the Couch to Coached podcast, with guest speakers including Dr Hussain Al-Zubaini alongside leading UK ultra and trail runners. The session will focus on how everyday runners can push their limits, covering topics such as mindset, fuelling, injury prevention and longevity in the sport.
The morning will close with a relaxed 2K community run, encouraging friends, family and supporters to get involved and be part of the day, regardless of experience or pace. A range of running brands and services will be on site throughout the event, while a recovery café will offer coffee, food and a chance for runners to refuel and socialise after their run.
Organisers say: "Our festival was created to move away from the idea that running is purely about times and results, instead focusing on connection, shared experience and celebrating what the body can achieve. Every participant will receive a goodie bag and access to the wider Protein Rebel community, including training support and early access to future events."
