Blackpit 10K

Ales & Trails At New 10K

Blackpit Brewery to host inaugural 10K trail run this October...

Trail running and craft beer will combine this autumn when the first-ever Blackpit 10K sets off from Blackpit Brewery on 19 October. Situated between the world-famous Silverstone Circuit and the National Trust’s Stowe Gardens, the brewery provides a scenic and unique base for the new event.

The route will take runners on a private tour of the Blackpit Estate, following woodland tracks, bridleways and estate trails. With 95% of the 10K course off-road, an elevation gain of just 85 metres and a two-hour cut-off, it is designed to be accessible to runners of all abilities.

The multi-terrain route starts and finishes just yards from the brewery taproom, where finishers will be rewarded with a bespoke medal, a pint cup and a cold beer to fill it – with alcoholic and alcohol-free options available.

Part of the popular Ales & Trails series, the Blackpit 10K promises not just a quality race but also a celebration of local produce and the great outdoors. Organisers say the route offers too many highlights to list, but expect varied scenery and a few gentle undulations to keep things interesting.
