Blackpit 10K and 5K are organised by Ales and Trails and take place at Blackpit Brewery near Silverstone in Northamptonshire.
The multi terrain courses start and finish close to the brewery taproom and explore private trails around the estate, together with woodland and bridleways. The routes are undulating, with approximately 78m of elevation gain over the 10K and 39m over the 5K.
The event has a two hour cut off, allowing runners and walkers plenty of time to complete their chosen distance. A water refill station is provided on the course, although participants need to carry their own cup as the event is cupless.
Finishers receive a medal and pint cup, together with a Blackpit beer or regular soft drink at the brewery. Free downloadable race photography is also included. The event supports Silver Star.
