MoRunning Runners

MoRunning Is Back In Scotland This November

Make a date with one of this year's MoRunning events...

As we approach the end of September, it is the perfect time to remind you that November is just round the corner! Yes, MoRunning is back for November 2022 and organisers can't wait for runners across the country to join in and be part of this incredible event.

1.5K, 5K, 10K and half marathon MoRuns will take place in locations across the UK. In Scotland you can participate in events in Edinburgh (5th), Perth (12th), Falkirk (13th) and Glasgow (27th). For those unable to join in at a live event there will also be a worldwide Virtual MoRun challenge.

All MoRuns offer fantastic routes, full race chip timing, incredible medals plus extras from event partners, fancy dress and best Mo prizes, smiles, laughs, new friendships and the creation of incredible, fun-filled memories. And these races are all about inclusivity; whether you are just starting out, a seasoned runner, young or old, you can be a MoRunner. A spokesperson said: "Without a doubt MoSista's make up around half of all our runners! Ladies are essential to making MoRunning a success, getting the MoBro's running and helping raise awareness."

The MoRuns are organised by the Movember Foundation, the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale. Through the MoRun and other activities, the charity raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention throughout the year.

All sums raised through entries, donations and individual fundraising at events like the MoRunning races across the UK help support Movember to achieve their very worthy goal: to stop men dying too young and to change the face of men’s health.

If you’d like to step up to the start line and help men live longer, healthier lives you can visit the event website for more details.
