Remember, Remember Movember
Mo Runs are back in the north of England, find out where here...
Forget training, if you start now you will have plenty time to grow a moustache for November’s Mo Runs which are back with face-to-face events in 2021.
With an incredible 16 UK locations and the inclusion of the 1.5km Mini MoRun it is expected there will be loads more MoBro's and MoSista's, as well as kids and families enjoying everything MoRunning is about! Good fun, lots of laughs, loads of smiles, high fives and not forgetting the fancy dress and funny moustaches!
Runners in the north of England can participate in a choice of four locations including Nottingham Victoria Embankment (6 November), Newcastle Exhibition Park (6 November), Manchester Heaton Park (20 November) and Leeds Roundhay Park (21 November).
A virtual MoRun – including 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon and 1.5k kids’ challenges – will also run during the month of November for those that can’t attend a real life event.
The MoRuns are organised by the Movember Foundation, the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale. Through the MoRun and other activities, the charity raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention throughout the year.
All sums raised through entries, donations and individual fundraising at events like the MoRunning races across the UK help support Movember to achieve their very worthy goal: to stop men dying too young and to change the face of men’s health.
If you’d like to step up to the start line and help men live longer, healthier lives you can visit the event website for more details.
