The Burgess Hill 10K is the final race of the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend, a unique three day event that combines two 10 mile races and a 10K across East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. Based at Burgess Hill Academy, the race can be entered as a standalone event or as the concluding stage of the full marathon distance challenge.
As the final day of the weekend, the Burgess Hill 10K brings runners together for the closing stage of the series. Alongside the main race, the event also features mile and fun run options, making it part of a wider community running festival in Mid Sussex.
The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend uses undulating roads, trails and pathways across the three host towns, with routes designed to showcase different parts of the Sussex landscape. For runners completing the full challenge, the Burgess Hill 10K provides the final miles needed to reach the classic marathon distance of 26.2 miles across three days.
