Kyles 10 Miles is a scenic road race and walk on Argyll's Secret Coast, following a circular route from Tighnabruaich around the Ardlamont peninsula to Kames. The course provides extensive coastal views towards Arran and the Mull of Kintyre along the way.
Runners tackle a challenging first five miles featuring a series of hills before the course becomes flatter for the second half along the coastal road towards Kames. The 10 mile road race is chip timed and Scottish Athletics affiliated, providing a distinctive combination of demanding early climbing and faster coastal running later in the course.
A 10 mile walk follows the same scenic event format with an earlier start, providing a non competitive alternative to the road race. All participants receive a medal and technical T shirt, with the finish at Kames providing refreshments and a sociable conclusion to the event.
