Glasgow and Edinburgh Inflatable 5K 2026

Big Inflatable Fun Heads To Glasgow And Edinburgh

Scotland gets giant inflatable challenge...

The Inflatable 5K heads back to Scotland in 2026 with huge obstacle filled events planned for both Glasgow and Edinburgh. UK Running Events will bring the popular inflatable challenge to Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell on 29 August before heading to Hopetoun House near Edinburgh on 5 September.

Runners can choose from 2.5K, 5K, 10K or 15K distances, with every lap packed with giant slides, tunnels, climbing obstacles and bouncing sections. The events are designed to be fun rather than competitive, making them ideal for families, friendship groups, charity teams and runners looking for a more relaxed day out.

Both Scottish events are expected to attract large crowds thanks to their festival atmosphere, music zones and accessible format. Younger runners aged five and above can also take part when accompanied by an adult, helping make the series one of the most family friendly running events on the calendar.

Finishers receive medals, goodie bags and refreshments, while the multiple distance options allow runners to decide whether to tackle a shorter fun challenge or take on repeated laps across the longer events. Organisers say the 2026 series will feature even bigger and bouncier obstacles than previous years.
