Scotland Gets Ready To Bounce
Have a bouncing great time with the whole family this summer...
A fantastic way to involve the whole family in your running habit is to take on a fun run together. And it doesn't get much more 'fun' than when the event in question involves tackling an inflatable obstacle course over a 5K distance.
Back in 2024, the 'world's largest and best inflatable 5K obstacle run' will see families and friends challenge themselves in locations throughout the UK. There are two events planned for Scotland this summer with Strathclyde Country Park hosting on 24 August and the Hopetoun Estate in Edinburgh on 31 August.
Organisers, UK Running Events, say: "We've added three additional brand new obstacles for 2024, meaning you will tackle 32 gigantic obstacles on the 5K distance. Combined with five pumping music zones to motivate you around the course, this year's Inflatable 5K is the most epic yet!
"The excitement has been pumped up to the max, you'll be jumping, sliding, and laughing your way to the finish line like never before. So grab your friends, lace up your trainers, and get ready for the ultimate inflatable adventure!"
Despite the size of the obstacles, the event is suitable for participants of all abilities, with families and children actively encouraged to take part. All those taking part will receive a finisher's medal, finish-line goodies and event photos. There will be fantastic music pumping zones and a free spectator's area as well with food and drink vendors on-site.
