Brum, Get Ready to Run
Will you be on the Midlands’ greatest start line in 2025?
Birmingham’s biggest and best running event is back! The AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run returns on Sunday, 4 May, bringing a bostin’ 10K and half marathon to the heart of the city.
With a fantastic new city-centre route, runners will pass Birmingham’s most iconic landmarks, including the Jewellery Quarter, St Paul’s Square, the Mailbox, Grand Central, St Martin’s Church, Southside, and Digbeth. The course promises an electric atmosphere, with live music zones, incredible local support, and a grandstand finish in Smithfield—where an event village full of post-race celebrations awaits.
Organisers say: "There’s everything you’d expect from a Great Run – notorious start line hype, top en-route entertainment and an event village that feels more like an after-party – but the carnival atmosphere and the passion and spirit of the runners is all Birmingham."
It’s a run for everyone—from first-time runners looking for a new challenge to seasoned athletes chasing a PB. Whether you’re running for fitness, charity, or just the thrill of race day, the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run promises an unforgettable experience.
