Flat ’N Fast 4

PB's Are Made To Be Broken!

Exciting new additions at this year's flat, fast and fun 5K West Lothian event...

Flat ’N Fast 4 returns to Linlithgow on 19 April and promises an electrifying day of high-speed racing at the West Lothian Cycle Circuit. With six elite-level 5K races, an expanded junior 3K event and the introduction of a brand-new mixed relay, this year’s edition is set to be the best yet.

Building on its reputation as a record-breaking venue, the circuit has already seen two Scottish Native Best performances over 5K and the 2025 event is expected to attract some of the fastest athletes in the country. With runners competing in laps around the smooth, traffic-free course, the 5K event consists of five laps plus a finishing straight, while the junior 3K covers three laps plus a shorter final sprint.

For young athletes, the junior race has been expanded to welcome even more talented U13 and U15 runners, offering them the chance to test their speed on a top-class circuit. In an exciting new addition, the mixed relay event will see teams of two male and two female runners each completing one full 960m lap - allowing for thrilling head-to-head racing. Competitors are even welcome to race in both the relay and the 5K event if they’re up for the challenge!

This year, every athlete in the 3K and 5K races will receive a custom bib with their surname, making the event even more special. Spectating is free and runners are encouraged to bring family and friends to create an electric atmosphere.

With fast times, a buzzing crowd and top-tier competition, Flat ’N Fast 4 is shaping up to be a highlight of the Scottish racing calendar. If you'd like to know more, visit the Flat 'N Fast entry page.
