World Day of Running medal

Fix Events offers 'worldy' medal for virtual challenge

World Day of Running Virtual Challenge is coming up on 27 June.

Fix Events have devised a special way to run and remember these exceptional times by designating Saturday 27 June as World Day of Running Virtual Run Challenge day.

With much of the world recovering from the devastating global pandemic that has changed our lives beyond recognition, runners have been using their favourite pastime as a thread of consistency throughout these uncertain times.

And race organisers have adapted and evolved, producing a seemingly endless stream of innovative virtual run opportunities that can almost, but not quite, recreate the spirit of competition that so many of us seek and enjoy.

Fix Events' latest challenge is completely free to enter; offers five choices of distance from 1.5K to marathon; challenge leader board; regular motivational updates, training advice, and videos. There will also be access to several partners' offers plus discounts to future Fix Events in the real world.

This latest foray into virtual running features a 'worldy' medal with clever references to social distancing, to remind yourself in years to come what 2020 running was all about. The medal is just £6 and will be sent to all finishers after the event. Go on, you know you want one!

Fix Events has close ties to a number of charities and is the company behind the MoRunning series, supporting the Movember Foundation with more than 20 events involving 15,000+ MoRunners; the GoDadRun series inspired by Colin Jackson; Use Your Senses series in aid of Guide Dogs UK and the Royal British Legion's Poppy Run series.
