Great North 10K Runners

Early Birds Act Quickly!

Act quick to save on some of the north's top races in 2024...

You'll secure something far better than a worm with these early bird offers for two of the north's most popular running events. What could be better than bagging a bargain and making plans for your 2024 race diary?

Up first, the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run is back on Sunday 26 May for another epic celebration, with banging tunes, an unbeatable atmosphere and fist bumps galore – and for a short time only, a very special earlybird discount. If you sign up before the end of October you can save up to £8 on the standard entry fee!

There is also a chance for the kids to shine at the Junior & Mini Great Manchester Run which will take place the day before the main event, giving the younger ones their own day to take centre stage with a return to the Etihad Campus. Expect fancy dress, high-fives, and lots of local support!

Organisers, Great Run, say: "It’s an event that gets the whole family involved every year, with Minis aged 3-8 taking on a fun 1.5K dash, and Juniors aged 9-15 tackling the 2.5K challenge. It’s always an incredible event atmosphere and all part of the iconic Great Manchester Run weekend of running. Be part of it!"

Later in the year is it the turn of the AJ Bell Great North 10K which is back on Sunday 7 July. In 2023 this race boasted a new route that started on the famous Great North Run start line and took runners across the iconic Tyne Bridge twice, before weaving through Newcastle city centre and finishing on the Town Moor. Organisers say: "It’s a route for all ages and abilities, whether it’s your first 10K or 50th, the Geordie supporters and lively carnival atmosphere will keep you going until you cross that finish line."

Fancy it? Then hurry and secure earlybird entry which will save you £4 on the standard entry fee! But run, don’t walk - this offer also ends at the end of October!
