The very popular Coventry Half Marathon returns to the race calendar this autumn with the date set for 29 October! A perfect post-summer challenge, this much-loved Midlands event has much to offer runners with a fantastic course and race day experience.

The event will take place around the historic city centre streets before heading into the nearby countryside out towards Shakespeare’s county of Warwickshire. Starting in the heart of the city centre on Gosford Street and finishing outside the steps of Coventry’s stunning gothic cathedral, it is hoped that thousands will return to the streets and enjoy the scenic city centre and countryside route.

Organisers say: "This is a great event for runners and spectators alike, our scenic route promises to attract huge crowds of supporters and allows for a spot of phenomenal sightseeing as the gothic city centre meets the picturesque countryside."

At the Coventry Cathedral finishline runners will be greeted with a goody bag of rewards, including post-run treats and a hard-earned bespoke medal for them to remember the day. Runners of all abilities including those with disabilities and any other special considerations are encouraged to sign up. Whether that be to fundraise for a charity close to their heart, to chase a PB or for their own personal challenge.
