Chorley 10K Set For Spring Return
Popular Lancashire race returns with 10K and 2K Family Run in Chorley town centre...
The Chorley 10K returns to Chorley, Lancashire on Sunday 3 May 2026, bringing a 10K road race alongside a 2K Family Run through the town centre and Astley Park.
Starting and finishing on Market Street, the 10K follows a two lap route that takes runners through town streets and into Astley Park, passing key landmarks including Astley Hall and the lake. The course offers a mix of flat sections and gentle climbs, providing a balanced challenge for a wide range of abilities.
The 2K Family Run takes place earlier in the morning, offering a shorter out and back route into Astley Park and creating a welcoming entry point for younger runners and families.
The event has built a strong reputation for its organisation and atmosphere, with local support helping to create a lively race day experience across both distances.
With a strong local following and a well supported route, the event continues to attract runners from across the region. Entries are still open with places expected to fill as the race approaches.
