Chatsworth's 10K Charity Challenge
Take on a 10K race in the stunning Derbyshire countryside, all in aid of an important local charity...
The Blythe House Hospice Chatsworth 10K will take place on 28 September, offering runners a race set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Chatsworth Estate. The event combines challenging mixed terrain with spectacular views across one of Derbyshire’s most iconic landscapes.
In addition to the main race, there will be a 3K fun run for families, children and anyone wishing to take on a shorter distance. The 3K fun run will follow a route through the estate grounds and offers a perfect opportunity for children and families to get involved while raising money for a worthy cause.
Last year’s event sold out before race day, so early booking is strongly recommended. Organisers promise more than just a race, with a lively atmosphere, delicious hot food and drinks, and a course that rewards both the legs and the eyes. Medals will be awarded to all finishers, with water and special treats available at the finish line.
By taking part, runners will be helping to raise vital funds for Blythe House Hospice, which provides support to patients and families affected by life-limiting illness across North Derbyshire.
Many runners return year after year, with one previous participant praising the event as 'a fun and professional setting, with the right atmosphere to make more serious club runners and first timers feel included'.
