The Bridgnorth 10K is organised by Bridgnorth Running Club and follows an undulating road course through the historic Shropshire market town of Bridgnorth.
Starting and finishing at the iconic Town Hall on High Street, the 10K takes runners through streets on both sides of the town, passing local landmarks and offering views towards the River Severn. The course includes challenging climbs such as Cartway and Railway Street, balanced by faster downhill sections as runners make their way back towards the town centre.
The route is fully signposted and supported by volunteer marshals, with a water station around the halfway point and first aid provision on race day. The race takes place on open roads, so runners must follow marshal instructions throughout.
Every finisher receives a souvenir T shirt and medal, with prizes for the leading male and female runners. Strong local support and a distinctive town centre setting contribute to the friendly atmosphere of this popular Shropshire 10K.
