The popular festive running event Do You Like My Bingley Baubles? will return to West Yorkshire on 7 December, bringing runners of all abilities to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal for a winter challenge with a Christmas twist.

Organised by It’s Grim Up North Running, the event offers a choice of distances from 5K to ultra marathon, attracting everyone from first-time runners to experienced endurance athletes. The route follows the scenic canal towpath just outside Bingley, known for its flat and fast surface and its famous landmarks, including the 3-Rise and 5-Rise Locks.

The event is a favourite for runners looking for a friendly, community-driven race before Christmas. Participants can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with many choosing to embrace the festive spirit by running in Christmas fancy dress. Feed stations every three miles will be stocked with sweets, treats and water to keep everyone fuelled along the way.

Every finisher will receive a bespoke festive medal and post-race goodies to celebrate their efforts. With chip-timed results, a scenic course and a touch of holiday magic, this event promises a memorable day on one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque running routes.
