ATW Nottingham Holme Run

Fast & Festive

Round off the year with a memorable race before settling in for the Christmas celebrations...

Runners looking to squeeze in one final event before the Christmas festivities can head to Holme Pierrepont on 21 December for the ATW Nottingham Holme Run. The event, organised by ATW Events, takes place at the National Water Sports Centre and offers a scenic and completely traffic-free route.

The regatta lake provides the backdrop for a pancake flat tarmac course that has become popular with those chasing fast times as well as runners keen to enjoy a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Participants can expect custom-designed medals, free event photography and a selection of snacks and goodies at the finish line.

Families are encouraged to join the festivities thanks to a free fun run taking place before the start of the half marathon. There is no need to book and runners are welcome to use the fun run as a warm-up or simply enjoy it as a relaxed outing with children and family members.

The event was first staged in 2021 and continues to grow in popularity. It also maintains its commitment to supporting good causes by raising funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK. ATW Events has established a reputation for friendly organisation and events that encourage runners to dream, believe and achieve.
