World Turned Upside Down!

Marathon Tours & Travel announce inaugural Arctic Marathon Package...

It was inevitable. After 30 years of successfully hosting the Antarctica Marathon on King George Island in the South Shetland Islands of Antarctica – the 30th trip comprising two voyages in March 2024, with a total of 261 finishers – Marathon Tours & Travel has turned the world upside down!

The latest opportunity for members of the exclusive Seven Continents Club to tick off another bucket list location – and potentially claim the unique and coveted 'Official Polar Challenge Technical Shirt and Medal for Antarctica and Arctic Finishers' – is the launch of the inaugural Arctic Marathon Package in the majestic Arctic Circle for a truly memorable race experience.

Responding to overwhelming demand from Seven Continents Club Members and Antarctica Marathon alumni, Marathon Tours & Travel has curated a meticulously planned itinerary that guarantees an unparalleled experience within the Arctic Circle in Greenland.

"This inaugural Arctic Marathon Package is a testament to our commitment to providing runners with unparalleled experiences in the most remarkable destinations on Earth," said Jeff Adams, President of Marathon Tours & Travel. "We have meticulously crafted every aspect of this journey, from the thrilling marathon races to the awe-inspiring excursions, ensuring that our participants create memories that last a lifetime."

Set to take place from September 2-15, 2024 the package offers participants a unique blend of exploration and challenge. Highlights include a 10-night cruise aboard the Ocean Albatros, with stops at picturesque locations, three nights in Copenhagen, Denmark, and a chartered flight to Greenland for the Arctic Marathon, Half-Marathon, or Ultra 50K race.

"We've spared no effort in ensuring our participants have an unforgettable experience," Jeff added. "From guided tours to an exclusive race briefing reception and post-race celebration, every detail has been planned to exceed expectations."

In addition to the thrilling race events, participants will have opportunities to explore the Arctic landscape through Zodiac Excursions and wildlife encounters while enjoying the comfort and luxury of the Ocean Albatros.

For those seeking to extend their adventure, Marathon Tours & Travel plans a post-race extension to Reykjavik, Iceland, promising even more unforgettable experiences in this stunning destination.
