Stunning East Lothian 10K Returns
Head to the coast for this scenic 10K that has much to offer...
East Lothian's Archerfield 10K is back on 3 May 2025, offering runners a chance to take on a stunning mixed-terrain course through the coastal area's breathtaking landscapes. Organisers tell us: "Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, the Archerfield 10K is a race to remember on all counts."
Starting and finishing at Archerfield Walled Garden, runners will enjoy a speedy start with the first few kilometres mostly on roads, before striding out onto the sands of Yellowcraig Beach to a view of Fidra Island. The island is said to have inspired Treasure Island and makes for a truly unique racing experience.
After the beach section, the course winds through woodland trails and the Archerfield Links Golf Course, before a final push through the Fairy Trail woods and Willow Walk towards the finish.
All runners will receive a finisher’s medal and a goody bag with prizes awarded to the top finishers. The event also promises a great day out for spectators, with The Garden Café, a gift shop and acres of beautiful grounds to explore while cheering on the participants including a fairy trail, pond, willow walk and beautiful gardens.
